Ellucian is looking for a Senior HR Operations Specialist to oversee the on-boarding process for domestic and global new employees. The ideal candidate will be customer service, team-oriented, with a solutions mindset, willing to do what is necessary for an exceptional candidate experience. The Ops Specialist will interact with all levels within the organization in order to execute the onboarding process and triage tickets in the HR Service Center as well as support special projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Generate and prepare weekly and monthly HR Operations reports, dashboards and support ad-hoc basic report requests
  • Improve on existing People Team processes and systems through gap analysis for enhanced efficiency, effectiveness, and service, as well as programs improvements to meet Ellucian’s HR goals
  • Assist with developing and delivering all HR Operations metrics to include Onboarding, and the HR Service Center
  • Develop strong relationships with domestic and international recruiters and HR Business Partners
  • Manage the entire onboarding lifecycle from gathering mandatory new hire forms, successful completion of background check, drug screening, and I-9 verification
  • Maintain employee files to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with IT, facilities, benefits, and payroll during onboarding, to ensure an exceptional new hire experience.
  • Assist in Affirmative Action/EEO projects as needed
  • Lead, manage, or support other People Team projects and tasks as identified

 

Requirements:

 

  • College degree or three-to-five years experience in a corporate or agency recruitment environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Experience with HR Management Systems (HRMS or HRIS) is preferred, with SAP SuccessFactors experience being HIGHLY desired
  • Strong solutions mindset, customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to be detail oriented, juggle multiple priorities, projects and tasks at once
  • Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness, perseverance and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential data with a strong sense of integrity, as well as sound judgment, awareness and business ethics
  • A resilient “can-do” attitude
