Position Responsibilities: The primary emphasis of the Enablement role is to ensure that the global sales organization and its selling needs are supported through the sales life cycle. The person in this role is to strategize, design, and/or deliver the necessary enablement activities in conjunction with sales leadership and Global Sales Effectiveness, to accurately translate the value and differentiation of Ellucian and its solutions in order to drive sales performance across the globe.  Areas of focus required to achieve success: tools & technology, including Salesforce.com management, metrics reporting, new hire onboarding & training, process re-engineering, and supporting sales events.

Position Requirements 

  • Evaluates & implements technology and tools that improves the overall efficiency as well performance of the global sales organization
  • Manages the success of the sales metrics associated with the overall MOR process and associated tools
  • Onboarding & new hire training to accelerate performance, improve employee engagement and reduce sales turnover
  • Responsible for implementing best in practice sales processes that are consistent with a world class sales organization
  • Develops various learning delivery models to engage the sales learners and to continually improve effectiveness of training and development programs and leverages technology to enhance and optimize the learning opportunity
  • Coordinates with the Global Sales Enablement team to define the necessary assets and delivery methods that will be used to convey the needed knowledge within the sales team
  • Support efforts of the sales Effectiveness team through collaborative activities
  • Planning and delivery of all events to include new hire boot camps, sales process training, all-hands calls, and Global Sales Kickoff
  • Represents the one voice and channel for communications to the Global Sales Organization
  • Understands and provides direction to the development of solutions marketing assets that will be used to support the sales efforts for new and upgraded solutions
  • Prepares the plan that enablement will use to support the sales organization’s ability to represent all new and upgraded solutions to the market
  • Participates in Product Release team meetings and provides influence from the sales perspective to allow for the best solution to be developed and launched
  • Responsible for hiring and managing relevant sales enablement staff, such as interns and contractors

 

 

Experience & Education

 

  • 7 to 10 years working in a sales organization (software industry preferred) with demonstrated track record of developing sales enablement activities
  • Experience working with constituent relationship management solutions (CRM) in a sales environment, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau
  • B2B sales experience in a SaaS environment
  • Experience supporting the higher education marketplace
  • Proven ability to work in and influence matrix managed programs
  • Working in cross functional collaborative functional teams
  • Training or consulting experience in one-on-one and one-to-many environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
