  • The DevOps team is in search of a DevOps Engineer to assist with maturation of CI/CD operations across product development teams in support of cloud operations 
  • Provide subject matter expertise for development and cloud operations teams to ensure that strong application performance management (APM) strategies are used to guide application development and operations 
  • Develop and mature tools and processes to support the management of data and ephemeral environments which facilitate modern application testing
  • Coordinate with the internal environment/application management team, IT, and DevOps teams to maximize synergies between DevOps efforts across hybrid cloud deployments
  • Collaboration across R&D development teams, information security, and cloud operations to instill and evangelize best practices for application development and deployment
  • Ensure that security best practices are used in development processes and pipelines across all projects
  • Development of tools, processes, and infrastructure supporting improvements in the well architected pillars of cloud-based applications (operational efficiencies, performance, security, resiliency, and cost management)
  • Identify and implement best practices in cloud deployments to facilitate migration of On-Premise workloads to the cloud, cloud growth and scalability, operational cost reductions, and repeatable cloud deployments.
  • Assist DevOps engineers within application teams with grooming of DevOps stories and provide architectural and design guidance/assistance.
  • Participate in a highly-motivated and agile team that has a customer-first, cloud-first focus


Position Requirements


A minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or DevOps/Cloud architect with at least 2 years of public cloud (AWS preferred) experience with SaaS and legacy applications.  Demonstrated Proficiency and knowledge of:


  • Cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.  Openstack experience is helpful
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies such as virtualization, storage and network domains in a cloud service model.
  • Application Performance Management (APM) tools and best practices.  Specific experience with AppDynamics is preferred.
  • Experience in the delivery of large, complex solutions, ideally ERP's.
  • Database management experience, both SQL and NoSQL
  • Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • Build, test, and deployment  tools such as Jenkins,,, Selenium, Maven
  • Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS.
  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams.
  • Comfortable with source control systems such as Git, GitFlow, SVN, TFS
  • Familiarity with secure software development including DevSecOps tools such as Zap, Arachni, Checkmarx, Whitesource
  • Strong commitment to rapidly learning new technologies and process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Education / Certifications


  • An undergraduate degree in computer science is preferred.
  • AWS certification(s) will be helpful.
