In the Sales Ops Analyst role, you will have 3 main responsibilities: 1) Be a trusted advisor supporting the development, implementation, and administration of Global Sales incentive compensation plans, 2) support and administer the development and communication of sales quotas, and 3) support field sales leaders with developing sales territories.  This position reports into the Vice President of Global Field Operations.  In this role you will partner with HR Business Partners, Sales, Sales Operations and the Commission department.  Significant training & support will be provided to the individual that fills this role.

This position is located in our Reston, Virginia Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Global Sales incentive plans
  • Partner with Sales to analyze and create sales commission plans
  • Support HR’s analysis of jobs, salaries and incentives in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of pay practices
  • Own projects, such as the annual Sales incentive planning process, creating annual quotas, communicating plans to Sales leaders and eligible employees, developing special incentives and preparing presentations the Sales & Executive leadership teams
  • Prepare the monthly commission accrual in compliance with ASU 2014-09 Revenue from Contracts with Customers (Topic 606) and work with the Company’s auditors as necessary to ensure accruals are accurately reflected in the financial statements
  • Administer the annual quota development process from the initial budget through the determination of individual quotas.  Manage the development of quotas during the year for new hires, new roles or as a result of organizational changes
  • Support Global Field Operations and Sales with the development and valuation of Sales territories

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Business)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, sales operations or human resources role
  • Strong demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word with advanced skills in Excel
