We are seeking a high caliber leader to lead our DevOps engineering team. This position, reporting to the VP of Cloud Architecture, will have significant growth opportunities as we drive improvement of DevOps maturity throughout a large R&D organization for full CI/CD automation and next-generation deployment architectures.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead team of DevOps engineers responsible for pipeline tools for CI/CD including automated testing, APM, DevSecOps tooling, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Select next generation of tools for continuous improvement of pipeline tools and processes, including leading projects for “build vs buy” decisions
  • Document and define best practices for DevOps maturity for adoption by developers across multiple product teams
  • Partner with R&D leaders across all products to operationalize infrastructure-as-code initiatives
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for DevOps teams as well as driving adoption by multiple product teams

 

Requirements:

 

  • 3-5+ years of experience leading DevOps engineering teams
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD best practices and tooling, cloud technologies, and infrastructure as code
  • Proven ability to perform in a collaborative, team-oriented, global environment with a strong customer orientation (internal and external).
  • Familiarity with ITIL
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization

 

Education / Certifications:

 

  • An undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or management, or equivalent experience is required
  • ITIL certification
