As a key contributor to our Solution Consulting team, you’ll serve as a product & technical champion to discover customer needs and demonstrate Ellucian solutions and value proposition. Working with the inside sales team, you’ll help acquire new customers, expand relationships and drive revenue growth. You’ll build breadth and depth of knowledge in higher education solutions and will be instrumental in helping higher education institutions visualize themselves delivering institutional value using our solutions by passionately position Ellucian as the solution to drive student success.



  • Understand the needs of higher education institutions, identify the right solutions and communicate the value these bring to their institutions
  • Translate customer needs and articulate technology and product positioning through storytelling and solution demonstrations
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and communicate with confidence and passion using the domain expertise your developing in higher education and our solutions
  • Understand all products sold through the inside sales team and be responsible for keeping the content and demos we use to support prospect/customer presentations current
  • Prepare and deliver demos to show the value of our solutions to higher education institutional challenges
  • Understand the needs of the inside sales teams, and develop plans to ensure outstanding support of those needs through day to day collaboration and solution delivery
  • Stay up to date with the latest Ellucian software releases and provide regular briefings on changes for the sales teams
  • Practice continuous learning through self-guided reading and research of relevant business practices, including the student journey, strategies in higher education, analytics, and workflow, to name a few



  • Bachelor’s degree qualified or equivalent, in business, technology, marketing or sales qualification
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and is not afraid to pick-up the phone
  • Natural storyteller and passion for presenting solutions to problems
  • Able to make effective presentations in time constrained situations
  • Able to articulate and logically communicate concepts both technically and functionally
  • Able to prioritize the work and strong project management skills
  • Able to meet deadlines, follow up on commitments, and take action as needed
  • Positive team player with ability to develop and maintain internal and external professional relationships
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce a plus
