Job Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and execute product testing - including functional testing and performance testing - for an enterprise-wide solution that leverages accepted industry standard test methodologies in an agile development environment.
  • Define overall project test objectives
  • Design, write, and execute effective automated test cases
  • Discover, reproduce, retest, and clearly document system defects
  • Display a high level of critical thinking in identifying and resolving high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems
  • Design, develop and maintain an automated test strategy that fully exercises end-user workflows and provides a framework for ongoing endurance/load tests
  • Develop, update, and maintain relevant test metric reporting
  • Perform test coverage analysis and requirement tracing    
  • Ensure adherence to process, tools and metrics standards within the project

 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • 4+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with QA methodology, process, deliverables and agile Scrum development
  • Experience with accessibility testing like JAWS, voice-over
  • Experience with mobile-first / devices testing
  • Experience with Selenium web browser automation
  • Working experience of test management tool ALM
  • Ability to write and execute effective manual, automated test cases and test plans
  • Experience working in Agile environment that employs continuous integration processes and automated testing
  • Experience working with test driven development (TDD/ATDD)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn a new domain rapidly
  • Display a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills
  • Work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills
  • Experience developing, and maintaining relevant test metric reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced agile scrum environment. Work closely with team lead for project planning and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships
  • Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)

 

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Higher education domain experience or working knowledge of Banner product(s)
  • Familiarity with Jenkins or other continuous integration tools
  • Experience with performance testing tools like WebLoad and Test Runner
