About the opportunity

A Functional Solutions Consultant (presales) is a customer facing role with a primary objective (as a member of a wider sales team) to sell software solutions to prospects and customers. You will work hand in hand with our Account Sales Executives to engage with customers and prospects (with people at all levels), throughout the customer lifecycle.

 

Where you will make an impact

  • Work with customers to understand (and help shape) their requirements to advise on best practice, latest thinking & facilitate workshops
  • Carry out targeted, audience appropriate presentations and demonstrations
  • Help qualify opportunities, form deal strategies and carry out research on customers to understand their pain points and needs within the higher education facility
  • Write bid responses

 

What you will bring

  • A minimum of 4 years relevant professional experience working in offices of higher education such as student admissions, registration, records, financial aid, bursar, continuing/adult education and technology services
  • An ability to explain and present software & technology to diverse customers, and ensure they are able to use applications and functionality effectively to accomplish their work
  • The exhibition of a strong sense of ownership for individual work assignments, team goals, and organisation initiatives
