Purpose of the role

This is a 12 month Fixed Term contract covering Maternity leave. The Resource Coordinator will be responsible for working collaboratively to facilitate an effective, smoothly scheduled consulting team for the EMEA Professional Services Team. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple resourcing demands from a variety of consulting practices across difference disciplines and geographies.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality administrative and project support to the Resourcing Manager and the team.
  • Provide project updates and reports via Excel and any other tracking systems as
  • required.
  • Initiation of the CCE sites & Project plans for all PMs in the region.
  • Carry out any other duties and projects as required by the Project Manager, commensurate with the level of the post.
  • Help facilitate communication within the project team and across other departments, and also serve as liaison between the project manager and other team members and perform important functions like updating timetables, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Organise meetings, book conference calls internationally, whilst liaising with other administrative staff
  • Ensuring that all scheduled progress reports are collected in a timely manner and any timetable changes are communicated.
  • Monitor, prepare and update records to ensure data is accurate
  • Perform case management, resolving conflicting commitments Support and assist the Resource Manager and Project Managers in the region.
  • Serve as an expert working with Professional Services resourcing system (Clarity);
  • Work collaboratively with assigned practices to support effective and timely scheduling of consulting resources and scheduling of complex projects;
  • Drive consistent resourcing process across the business.
  • Make effective use of technology where appropriate for communication, monitoring trends in resource use, and documentation;
  • Working with practice and project leadership, identify resource needs and assign appropriate support in a timely manner;
  • Participate and assist Resource Manager through the weekly calls with teams across the business to ensure all requests are being processed in timely manner.
  • Analyse resource data and highlight any concerns in periods and peak holiday, training or non-chargeable activities that will impact business performance

 

Selection Criteria – Professional skills 

  • Advanced Excel, word skills is crucial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent judgment that can be used effectively in appropriately resolving and/or escalating issues.
  • The ability to develop rapport and maintain highest degree of integrity;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and constituents;
  • Strong ability to build collaboration, reduce conflicts; and build consensus;

 

 

Desired Skills 

  • Knowledge of consulting or professional service business is highly desirable.
  • Strong data organizational skills.
