Purpose of the role

The EMEA Partner Marketing Manager will carry out the execution of Ellucian’s partner sales strategy, in line with the Ellucian Partner Program, with our broader partner ecosystem.  This role will be front facing with partners and work proactively to build incremental growth in our core markets through the development and execution of a marketing plan that is tailor made to the individual partner.  In addition, a core responsibility for this position will be to build and roll out a communication plan designed to educate and disseminate knowledge about our Partner strategy and activities both internally at Ellucian as well as externally to the market

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage marketing activities within budgetary guidelines and deadlines.
  • Work with partners to develop joint marketing plans based on market trends and competitors. Assist in developing partner presentations and provide product training to partners.
  • Identify and qualify potential partners for lead generation and maintain positive and productive relationships.
  • Manage global partner program to achieve revenue goals, support partner events and manage partner marketing communications.
  • Evaluate the marketing performance of partners and recommend improvements.
  • Work in accordance with Ellucian’s overall Marketing Message alongside the core field marketing team based in the UK and the Middle East.
  • Engage with a virtual team of stakeholders across EMEA to allow for local execution of the Ellucian Partner Program, as well as for local interaction and ownership of the defined strategic alliances.

 

Selection Criteria – Professional skills

  • c.10 years’ experience of working in a B2B international channel partner/distributor environment
  • Experienced in building partner marketing programs from the ground up and have the ability to scale and grow in highly evolved partner ecosystems
  • Demonstrable experience of planning and executing end-to-end integrated campaigns
  • Outstanding communication skills (excellent written English and extensive copywriting experience); Arabic language is a plus.
  • Proven experience working with Systems Integrators, ISV’s and establishing new relationships that create net new business.
  • Relationship Management, ability to build consensus and to work through others in achieving desired results and objectives with demonstrated autonomy to work in highly complex, matrix environments with multiple stakeholders and high degree of ambiguity.
  • Ability to present results and strategy to teams while considering variety of knowledge levels within audience
  • Ability to effectively communicate daily performance by producing all necessary reports in an effective, timely and tailored manner
