This leader will provide direct leadership to the Server Services team. This is a handson, highly visible role, the leader will be expected to be directly involved with the team and manage a complex and high profile fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities:


  •     Manage information technology and computer systems
  •     Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  •     Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  •     Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  •     Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
  •     Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  •     Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  •     Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  •     Preserve assets, information security and control structures
  •     Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness




  •     Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
  •     Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  •     Expertise in data centre management and data governance
  •     Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
  •     Ability to manage personnel
  •     BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
  •     Proven ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external executive leadership
  •     5+ years of direct customer support
  •     5+ years of experience directly managing a team

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field is preferred.  Equivalent work experience will be considered.


Technical Skills:

  •     Experience managing/administering Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016.
  •     Experience managing/administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO’s.
  •     Experience managing/administering Office 365.
  •     Experience managing/administering Sharepoint and Microsoft SQL Server.
  •     Experience creating and executing PowerShell Scripts for process automation.
  •     Experience managing/administrating SCCM.
  •     Experience managing/administrating VMware ESX servers.
  •     Understanding and execution of backup/restoration processes/procedures as well as disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
  •     Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  •     Experience with systems monitoring, and long-term trending of SLA, performance, and sizing metrics.
  •     Experience working with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10.
  •     Experience with SAN storage / EMC preferred.
  •     Experience with Hyperconverged solutions.
  •     Experience with root cause analysis as well as identify and remediating security-related events or weaknesses.
  •     Experience with VDI solutions.
  •     Experience with EMC VNX, Cisco UCS, Nexus, Avamar, VMware, McAfee, and Microsoft highly desirable.
  •     Moderate lifting (<70lbs) is required in the course of the day-to-day work.
