RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager, Professional Services is responsible for producing quality delivery outcomes and excellence to our customers.  Position responsibilities include:

 

People Care

Responsible for all aspects of talent management; including:

·       Mentoring and coaching

·       Improving delivery capabilities by executing training and enablement plans

·       Developing career plans to broaden their experience

·       Proactively addresses performance feedback and timely communications

·       Provide clear guidance on Ellucian policy and procedures to enable success

 

Customer Delivery Excellence

·       Takes responsibility for ensuring high quality service delivery with a focus on a positive customer experience.

·       Effective team leadership demonstrating an understanding of implementation methodology, project governance, and industry best practice.

·       Serves to assist with escalations to resolve project related issues involving project priorities, resources, and/or constraints.

·       Demonstrates the ability to quickly understand a business situation; make a good judgment and prompt decision to facilitate expedition of resolutions and navigate to successful outcomes

·       Responsible for team oversight with regard to managing resource scheduling, utilization, and team maturation

 

  

Relationship Management

·       Consistent demonstration of leadership and agility within the political landscape when resolving/negotiating difficult situations among internal and/or external stakeholders.

Builds positive working relationships/partnerships to be a trusted advisor across the following lines of business:

  • Customers
  • Global Services Leadership
  • Sales organization
  • Customer Success Managers
  • Product Management
  • R&D
  • Marketing organization
  • CloudOps

 

 

Operations

·       Has a thorough understanding of the key performance indicators such as capacity and metrics for the business. Proactive monitoring of supply and demand to adjust resourcing needs to achieve revenue and operating income targets

·       Supports Sales team via timely proposal and scoping support with a goal of growing revenue

·       Responsible for delivery readiness including input into implementation methodology updates to support SaaS release cycle and to successfully meet delivery metrics.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

 ·     Experience with using and/or Ellucian Banner products in an institution

·      Knowledge or experience with systems implementation

·       3+ years’ software services experience

·       Experience and/or understanding of the financial aspects of running a consulting center; enabling delivery readiness, problem solving and root cause analysis

·       SaaS Implementation Experience/Knowledge

·       Ability to establish relationships in global environment

·       Strong communication and presentation skills

·       Hands-on leadership style; ability to lean in on initiatives to drive successful outcomes
