As Ellucian's Business Analyst you will collaborate with an agile development team to create, analyze project / product requirements in support of meeting the epic level product roadmap commitments. You will utilize your writing skills to create comprehensive User Stories that define the scope of deliverable for the development team.

 

Your Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Escalate issues and potential issues to the agile development team and management
  • Invoke delivered code in Unit Test environments to ensure / validate requirement is met with delivered software.
  • Aid in estimating work effort for projects and manage work to meet the project schedules
  • Actively participate with the team in software requirements, design, and code reviews to provide early and continuous quality feedback.
  • Adhere to process, tools, and metrics standards within the development team
  • Proactively seek ways to incorporate new / creative ideas and methodologies into testing efforts by keeping abreast of current methodologies, technologies and tools.
  • Perform all of the above duties independently, with minimal supervision, keeping managers, team members, and stakeholders informed of progress

 

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years working within Higher Education Recruitment and Admissions
  • High-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to work independently and keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goals.
  • Motivated self-starter with advanced capability to quickly learn, and work with new technologies and complex technical environments, including a variety of databases and operating systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication / interpersonal skills and strong teamwork relationships.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

 

  • Agile software development practices such as XP, Lean Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, CRM 2016, and/or 365
  • Working knowledge of Usability standards and best practices
  • CRM processes and tooling
  • UI Design
