We are looking for a seasoned Professional Services leader who will bring heightened focus to customers, their outcomes, and their success. This leader will dedicate their time to managing the customer delivery experience including improving responsiveness to customer requests for professional services and accelerating time to value. They will be responsible for directing and managing the consulting practices within Professional Services. This position is essential within Ellucian as it provides recommendations for improving the revenue growth and overall performance of the company while monitoring departments on a consistent basis. Additionally, the role will ensure that each respective consulting practice is successfully delivering solutions.

 

Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success.  In this mission critical role you will help enable their transformation to cloud/SaaS solutions and ensure successful adoption of these solutions by delivering a world class experience for customers built on repeatability, responsiveness and leveraging more automation and less manual process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the vision and structure for the team; improve implementation methodologies, toolkits and scalable processes, aligning to the global processes in an agile environment.
  • Ownership & accountability for setting the strategic direction of Bangalore Professional Services team
  • Oversee and work closely with all levels of members of the Professional Services team globally to deliver stellar implementation and project management services to clients.
  • Provide the leadership, guidance, & motivation to enable teams to consistently deliver against the  strategy and objectives of the Professional Services teams,
  • Establish credibility internally and externally with your software implementation, supply chain and consulting knowledge to serve some of largest customers across APAC, EMEA and the United States.
  • Collaborate with client and internal stakeholders to set business goals, identify appropriate resources, track and report on progress.
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, and encourage risk-taking to maximize business value.
  • Ensures delivery readiness and excellence for all practice areas
  • Regularly interacts with senior management and executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, teams, and/or customers.
  • Provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of processes and programs.
  • This role will report into Vice President - APAC.

 

What We Need from you:
 

  • 15+ years of experience in a service delivery role with a successful record of holding a leadership position within a services organization
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading a cross-functional, region-wide organization
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships in a matrixed, global environment and establishing a high level of credibility across functional lines of business (ie: Sales, Cloud, Product, & Software Development)
  • Deep knowledge and solid operational experience with new services methodologies related to next generation services
  • Demonstrated success in scaling and profitably growing a professional services business focused on predictable implementation.
  • Strong understanding of project management & implementation within a professional & global services environment
  • Outstanding Leadership skills including development of talent, strategic planning, budgeting, operation/process focus, and creative thinking
  • Previous experience in helping organizations through the transition from on premise to Cloud support is highly desired
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a keen ability to drive towards mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Exceptional communication, listening and presentation skills
