Job Responsibilities & Requirements


  • Quickly responds to incidents and requests within a ticketing system, providing resolution within a complex, fast-paced business environment
  • Lead a team of 4-6 engineers, be the point of escalation for the team, and mentor junior/senior team members.
  • Lead the changes in process or creation of new tools that reduces manual efforts, and improves efficiency.
  • Coordination of changes in conjunction with established change management policies
  • Monitoring systems alerts, performance and utilization reporting
  • Be a technical point of contact for all Ellucian SaaS products, troubleshooting issues by following playbooks pertaining to cloud and applications, and escalating as necessary.
  • Review current infrastructure and make recommendations for performance/cost/ other optimization
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to other teams and team members
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience


  • Exceptional technical skills, with min 5 years experience, in the domain one has worked on, with  excellent scripting/development skill using any tool.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, with
  • Experienced system administrator - either Linux or Windows stack.
  • Strong written/verbal communications skills, and possess the ability to interface with end-users effectively
  • Experience with managing Enterprise SaaS solutions (preferred)
  • AWS certification (preferred)
  • Ability to automate solutions for recurring issues, or creating self-service applications
