Job Responsibilities & Requirements


  • Strong analytic skills required, including the ability to interpret customer needs into application and operational requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Self-starter who understands how to effectively deal with ambiguity and with changing priorities
  • Fast learner; able to learn new software solutions, business processes and design techniques quickly and efficiently
  • Experience in Human Resource (HR) Management ERP software
  • Developing product requirements and user stories for the product using document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, competitive product analysis, task, and a workflow analysis.
  • Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze functional requirements while delivering the following artifacts as needed; user stories, use cases, storyboards/wireframes, test scenarios, etc.
  • Working with development and QA staff, sharing functional knowledge and explaining requirements, to implement and test defect corrections and enhancements for existing and proposed software solutions.
  • Assisting in testing existing and proposed software solutions.
  • Taking a leading role in sprint backlog grooming and sprint reviews.
  • Assisting with the development of customer-focused documentation (User Guides, Training Materials, etc.) for software solutions.
  • Analyze and review business and functional requirements.
  • Taking ownership of day to day deliverables and bringing it to a logical conclusion. 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience


  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Business analyst role
  • Experience in Human Resource (HR) Management ERP software
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Takes a logical, analytical approach and innovative approach to problem-solving and has an eye for detail.
  • Experience working in Agile SCRUM.
  • Experience working as a BA for enterprise solutions.
  • Strong team player is able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organization.
  • Experience in writing stories for Epics keeping in mind the regulatory and integration dependencies.
  • Requirements gathering via use cases or user stories with acceptance criteria and experience in writing user stories.
  • Taking ownership of day to day deliverables and bringing it to a logical conclusion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong teamwork relationships.
  • Flexible with work hours as we work with US customers/peers.
  • Last but not least is the ability to work with a fast-paced high performing built around the culture of trust and candor.

  • Higher education domain and system experience
  • Working knowledge of Banner HR
  • Experience designing, documenting and manual testing
  • Knowledge on usability
