  • Daily tasks surrounding ticketing system to check and resolve incidents and request tickets that are in queue.
  • Proactive network monitoring to identify issues before reported.
  • Provide network documentation and support procedures for resolution of network issues.
  • Ensure availability of network services that include VPN, network connectivity, telecommunication systems, firewalls, routers, wireless, network monitoring
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Support outside organizations/groups in troubleshooting issues involving the network.
  • Ensure network devices/infrastructure is up to date on bugs or vulnerabilities.
  • Follow change management process when performing network maintenance.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools as opportunities for innovation.
  • Assess technical risk and mitigation plans.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support the global enterprise 24/7
  • Vendor management – include technology and service provider




Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with broad and deep technical knowledge of network design and implementation
  • Strong understanding of troubleshooting methodology
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high demand, operations environment
  • Good organizational skills, people skills, and customer service skills
  • Ability to increase operational efficiency through automation, process, or procedural improvement
  • Experience with Cisco (Nexus) switch/routing environments
  • Technical understanding of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, etc
  • Technical understanding of layer 2 protocols such as STP, VTP, LACP, and other switching concepts
  • Experience with Cisco/Meraki wireless networks
  • Experience with firewall and VPN concepts
  • Technical understanding of SIP, VOIP, and telephony systems or contact center solutions
  • Experience with Network Monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, AppNeta, NetBrain
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training


Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Cisco Certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP
  • AWS Networking experience
  • SD-WAN experience
  • Cisco DNA Center experience
  • Experience with load balancers (such as F5)
  • DNS knowledge
  • SolarWinds Orion
